Student Paper Competition

Purpose

This initiative intends to spur young researchers to attend the Multibody Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics Conference as part of the ASME-IDETC conference, to submit and present high-quality research

APPROACH

The MSNDC conference has organized the Student Paper Competition since 2016. The full-length papers submitted and to be presented by students are short-listed after rigorous reviews. The papers are rated according to (a) originality; (b) technical quality; (c) relevance & contribution; and (d) organization & clarity. The finalists move to the next presentation round. The oral presentations will be evaluated by a sub-committee during a special session of the MSNDC Conference. The paper and oral presentation scores are combined to select the top awardees.
